In my sig are my mods with 342's and I am torn between two cams

TSP 233/239 603/600 112

or


CRANE 236/240 600/600 112

My gut says Crane but what are your thoughts ?? Driveability and tq at or around 3k?

Good god man I hope my miserable life would boil down to more of a choice then that but if that was it I would go TSP.

i was in ur same shoes bro. i couldn't decide so i didn't do. i say wait and maybe ask to ride around with people who have cams. then u can compare them. if u can't do that then u kinda just have to pick, maybe u should look at mti's y1 cam or tsp's baby stick i think? its smaller then the magic stick. hope u think long about ur desicon though....

The crane lobes are gunna be softer. I would say the TSP cam will make more mid/low power and peak ok, whereas the crane cam will lack low-end power and pick up hard on the top end. Why even have this choice when you can get the TSP magic stick? It's similar to the specs of the crane and has a better lobe profile.

Yea, but I have the larger 2.05 intake valves and I need one with a 603 or smaller lift! That's the problem, I fu$cked up and got larger valves STUPID!!! Now my cam choices are limited! Thanks though! Anyone with Patriot LS6 with the 2.05's and a good cam larger than the one I have?? P L E A S E

I don't think you will notice the difference. So go for price and service.

NIETHER LOL.... is going to have the tq of a thunderracing 224 at 3000 rpms from what ive said.. best bet for lowend and high end is the 224 or the f13 from futral imo... but niether of those is a sure thing but both are ofcourse streetable depending on how u like it.

he's already got a 226 cam in it! i think he's ready to put a hoss in there and see how it runs. you can have a custom cam ground for what will fit in it.

if you dont mind pulling the heads again, you can flycut the pistons and put whatever the hell you want in it

Well............thanks for the ideas. I will get the 233/239 b/c the guys at Texas Speed were so helpful! Then when I want a bigger one, cause I will! Pull the heads....flycut and put some badass heads back on!!! Thanks guys!

why not just notch your pistons?
