Back again you guys and another guy wants to race. We are both automatics. And were pretty good friends but i wanna put some cash down on it. Were gonna do an off the line he has 34,000 miles and i have 31,000 . Tell me the outcome. like i said i wanna stay undefeated if i can.

according to all the statistics online the firebird ran faster on top speed and acceleration. Sooo i dont know what to think were both autos and bone stock. I dont like adding mods ruins the car and im not a heavy racer. Only to people that talk **** is all. But does anyone think that the MONSOON sound systems are kickA$$ for stock too?

the ONLY thing the ws6 has over the ss is some suspension, and its hardly anything, so i'd stay away until you grab a higher stall or somethin at least...

the winner will be the one who gets the better launch, so if you get tires and a stall you'll grab him pretty good, or if you get some larger mods like longtubes n' what not.

I went the the track last week and raced a (stock) 2002 SS Camaro up against my (stock) 2002 Trans Am. He ran a 13.8 @ 99.6 and I ran a 13.6 @ 101.5. We raced again (HIM) 13.8 @ 101.0 (ME) 13.6 @ 101.3.

Once I got my lid and cutout i ran a 13.4 @ 102.2

ruins the car it will not be huge loss to the loser. and no the monsoon sucks.IMHO and you asked. and you will NOT win all the time if you dont want to chance a loss dont race. stay on the porch and the record will stay clean.

I agree, the Monsoon isn't a very good system for an "upgrade". They sould have used the Bose system that's in the Grand Prix's, much better speakers.

I'll put my money on the SS. My SS ran 13.30 @ 106 stock as a rock. But when talking about SS or WS6 just take your pick, both will blaster a Mustang!!
