Default What sort of stall to get?

Well I have a car with the mods in my sig now. In the summer I will be putting on the LS6 intake, ported TB and either a G5x3 or F14. I am looking for a stall now I was looking at a TCI 3 thousand something rpm. I am also putting in 3.73 gears and drag radials. What is a daily drivable stall for me?
I need to beat my 2 neighbors vipers.

ITs pretty much a personal perfernace to what is drivable and what is not. I have a vig 3800 and its very streetable in my opinion. I wouldnt run anything under a 3500.

I would recommend going with a SS3600 and 3:23's. I wouldn't go lower than 3500. The SS3600 has a 2.5STR so I think it would be better paired with 3:23's and drag radials than 3:73's. But I really don't know what if any traction issues you have now. If you were using a stickier tire and at the track then I would get 3:73's. Just my opinion since it's a street car.

well I'm fairly ok when it comes to driveability, bucking is ok, surging gets me going after a while. I may take that advice on those 3.23 because i'm 16 and don't ave tons of money to spend on things like gas at 2.45 a gallon.

If you don't mind the looseness you could also just keep the 2:73's. Those are the gears you have now right?

With those cams, I would say 3800 would be your best bet with gears, and if you don't mind that it will feel loose, 4200 with the 2.73s. The latter would feel quite loose with 2.73s, but bumping the STR a bit could compensate some for that. Also, check out the group purchase we have going on now. Some pretty amazing deals.
Please feel free to shoot me a PM if you would like some additional help getting the best setup for your car.
