This might be a stupid question, but how does a mail order tune work? We mail our computer to you, and you tune it two the mods we have and mail it back? Wuts the turnover time on that?

Hey Jason,
Sorry to bombard you with questions but I'm kind of stuck between the 231/237 and 233/239. Either way I had planned on your mail order tuning. Since your a Predator dealer would it be possible to give me a custom tune that will work with my Predator? I would understand if you had to charge more. Also, the 233/239 is making more torque down low than the 233/237? I have to live with these 2.73s & 3500 stall combo for a few months. Is this thing going to be horrible to drive? Although I'm coming out of the hole on a 150-200 shot and my shift extensions are in the 4,400rpm range.
Thanks a bunch,
Andrew

Jason will this cam work with the PRC heads? I'm thinking about replacing the 233/239 cam. Do you have any more info/dyno runs on the 235/240 cam.

What cam would you recommend to use with Patriot Stage 2 LS6's w/ 59cc so that I don't have to flycut the pistons. I am going to run a 4.10 gear in a few months. The car is a 2000 SS w/ LS6 intake, 2002 Injectors, and ported T-Body.
Thanks for the help.

Jason:
I need a cam package for car in sig.
OBDII scan in CT for emissions.
Car is driven in good weather only.
Would like a complete package-cam, springs, retainers, seals, seats, bolt, etc.
Thanks
Keith

ZULater01 - Our 233/239 v.2 camshaft will work very well with your current cylinder heads without any clearance issues so long as you're running a factory thickness cylinder head gasket and the heads have not been shaved any. It has been making some excellent power! Considering the power you're currently making, 400+ RWHP should be had with a good tune in the car.
a98ws6 - It will depend on how much your pistons have been cut. Shoot me an e-mail at trevor@texas-speed.com with how much your pistons have been cut and what thickness cylinder head gasket you're running, and I'll let you know if you'll be okay with the MS3 camshaft.
PonchoFan - If you only have a computer scan for emissions testing and NOT a sniffer test, you can get away with more camshaft. We normally recommend our 224 camshaft on a 114 LSA (224/224, .580"/.580", 114 LSA) for those looking to pass emissions, but you could step up some if they are not taking any readings at the tailpipe. Considering your 3600 stall and 3.23's, I would expect you to have shift extensions right around 4800-5000 RPM. If your wanting something that is a decent step up over the 224, our Torquer v.2 (232/234) camshaft would work very well considering your setup. If you are wanting to keep it a little more on the conservative side, then our 225/225 or 228R (228/228, .588"/.588", 112 or 114 LSA) camshafts would be a great selection. FYI, you'd be looking at a peak power difference of 15-20 RWHP going from a 224 camshaft to our Torquer v.2. Feel free to e-mail me as well if you have any questions or concerns. I will be more than happy to make sure that you select the right camshaft to meet your wants and needs.
