I can pick up the whole thing for 300 bucks brand new. Is it worth getting w/ the mods in my sig. I plan on adding the hooker stainles and ORY in the very near future, wonderin if i should even bother w/ the predator. TIA

It works for me. Diablo will send you custom tuning for the ORY and emissions equiment too. Usually less than a 24 hour turn around on custom tunes. You have to email Johan@diablosport.com though if you want it quick and right.

Is it worth getting though. Im not really all that savy and know ZERO about tuning, so im not getting HP tuners or LS1 Edit. So is the diablo worth 325$$ with the mods in the sig?

If your not willing to invest in HPT or Edit in the future I think it would be great for you. It's super simple to use and it's something you really won't out grow with jsut bolt ons. Local stock GTO picked up 17hp at the wheels with one. Everyone doesn't see those results but the average seems to be around 10rwhp. Or you could save the money and then when you get your headers and everything in the car have the car dyno tuned for about $500.

If you email Diablo before you pull all the emssions equipment they will send you a tune that has the AIR, EGR, COT, & rear O2s disabled. Also, after the install if teh car is rich or lean at part throttle they can fix that too. All the tunes come through email, you just need a cable and A/C adapter from Radio Shack.

Im sorry if im being repetitive, I just wanna get this right. So if i get race ready headers (!EGR/!AIR) with an ORY, i email this dude, he sends me a tune for that and i put it in and it deletes the codes.
Then if i pick up an LS6 intake at a later time, do I just load the same tune again?
Like if i pull out the AIR/EGR during the header install. Once i install an ls6 intake w/o EGR will the code come back?

Yep, when you put in your headers just rip out all the emisions equipment and buy a rubber freeze plug from any autoparts store to plug the LS1 intake for the time being (1 7/8" if I remember right). Just email him telling him what your doing and what your deleting. He'll send you a program and instructions to download tunes, you send him your tune and it will come back modified. Install the tune once and you should be good to go. I saw that the Predaotr came from RWTD, he does custom tunes also but unless he has gotten his **** togethor you will wait 3 weeks for it.

I would get the Predator programmer. After your header install you will run pig rich and the Predator will be good for mods up until you do a head/cam package or forced induction. James at RWTD is great and yes he has been behind here latey but makes every effort to keep his customers satisfied.
