Default NOS with catalytic convertors in place?

I know that this isn't optimal... but would there be any downsides aside from eating up a few HP to running 3" high flow cats behind my long tube headers and dual 3" exhaust with Xpipe?

Would the NOS burn up the cats eventually?

Thanks,

Mark

I have sprayed through catalytic converters many times and have never ran into any problems, yet. I believe that the cats would quit working quicker depending on how much you spray through them, when we were in school we were taking 5-gas readings before and right after(not during) spraying a car and the HC went extremely high after spraying and took a while before returning to normal.

I used to spray on cars that had cats all the time. I did my car untill the cats would glow red after 5 minutes of running, so i had to get rid of them.

It will be 100% ok.

Thanks for the replies guys. It makes me happy that there shouldn't be a problem with them in place.

I did spray threw my cats for a long time, then finally got test pipes put on. It feels like my high rpm range doesnt fall off as much as it used to when i sprayed. Now i just cant wait to get some Long tubes and ORY on here.
