80mm TB, will it make more power?
I have a 2002 TA, mods are lid, K&N, ported fact. TB, LT's, 2.5" true duals, 2800 stall and 220/224 cam, will a 80mm really help or make more hp and would it need to be re-tuned? thanks for any advise.

Correct about the turbulence, best option is to port stock TB. If you want to spend more money, get the MTI Billet TB. Cost is around the same as the BBK, much nicer unit though. Unless you are going with a 90 mm intake manifold, these are your best bets.

you got an LS6 intake so just stick w/ a ported stock TB unless you wanna get sum bling, then go w/ the MTI unit.
BBK is a waste.
