Guys that run a stall bigger than 4400, come inside!
Right now, I have a TCI ssf 4000 in my 4l60e. it has a 2.7str, and hits hard, giving me a 1.6 60ft on stock internals and stock suspension. but i want to go bigger, and i am gonna send it in to get it re-stalled. I am wondering what stall speed i should get. The rear end gear is 2.73 right now, but I am going with a 4.10 soon. I am staying N/A, and I am on a 275/50/15 MT drag radial. thanks in advance.

IMHO I'd definitely wait until you put the new gear in before the restall. That will let you know what RPM you cross the finish line at and how the future stall will affect it.

Unless you have a cam that doesn't make power untill 5000 rpm, I would not go above 4400 stall. 4400 Has been the magic number for Ls1 cars shifting at 6800 and below. The swap from 2.73s to 373s should drop you into the 1.5X 60' assuming you have traction. If you really plan to swap gears, I'd do that first. You're cutting a good 60' with that converter and I would not mess with the converter until you do other mods.
