Default Finally QTP HV Oil Pump & 2 Piece Timing Cover ready For Shipment

Finally we are ready to ship our two piece timing cover "The Quick Cam Cover" and the High Volume Oil Pump. Took longer than expected with the foundry but they are all done and ready for shipment.

It is a two piece timing cover that allows you to access your cam with out pulling the crank pulley. Makes life even easier on the C5 so you dont have to drop the rack and pinion to pull the crank pulley.

A heavy duty piece that is made out of aircraft aluminum. Comes with OEM crank seal and aluminum gasket maker for a proper seal. The GM sealant they use for transfer cases.

Since we designed this cover from scratch we where able to create high volume oil pump. You could not accomplish this with the factory cover due to its size. We enlarged the lower half of the cover to accommodate a larger oil pump.

The QTP oil pump provides more volume of oil at a higher pressure relief setting. The pump is designed with a gerotor designed to displace more than 15% more oil than the original GM design. The relief spring installed in the pump is designed to increase the internal by-pass pressure setting an additional 10 psi. An additional spring is supplied which will reduce the internal by-pass pressure back to original settings. The pump design has also been improved by reducing flow restriction. In addition, pump materials have been changed to improve performance and durability. These changes improve the pump’s efficiency resulting in better performance especially during priming and at low rpm. This is not a ported oem pump. Brand new cast pump that will out perform any ported factory unit!.

A 2mm thicker gear rotor compared to the factory rotor.

The cover clears single roller timing chains.

LS2 Quick Cam Cover will be ready in Feb/Mar.

Price of the Cover and Pump is $599.99.
Ready To Roll Special Price will be $550.00
You must mention this special to get the special price.

Any questions feel free to call us.

More pictures can be found on the Quick Cam Cover Page.

How can you properly line up the dots on the timing chain without being able to see the crank gear?

You can see the dots to line them up and plenty of room in there. All the preproduction cars that have them and they lined the dots up with ease.

Our cover is a cnc and made of aircraft aluminum. Stronger to prevent any flex and does not leak. There is a modified stock unit. Thats all i know of theres.

You're getting them from a foundry, yet they are CNC? If they come from a foundry, then they are cast.

I'd love to have one, but $600 is too much money, and I don't need the pump. I would pay $200 for just the cover without the pump, though.

The oil pumps are casted. The cover is CNC. CNC is so much better quality than a cast aluminum piece. Stronger and looks so much better.

OK, I see on your website the cover only is available for $425. That's a little better, I guess. This would be great for someone that has to put the stock cam back in every year to pass smog, LOL.

BTW, your headers rock!

The way I look at it is that if the C5R race team can get away with a single roller, there is no reason why I cant use one. Not only that but you now have less rotating mass with a single roller. Back in the day with the old SBC motors a double roller was always a good idea. With the new technology and metals in use with the LSx series of motors things are ALOT stronger.
