Default LPE LS6 flow numbers, local bench

I am just sheding some light on the CnC LPE heads.
Here is what LPE says they flow vs what my local shop's flow sheet reads. This thread is only started to help everyone out thinking about buying the heads.
They are milled 50 thousands I believe, and are LS6 castings.

LPE says------------- Local machine says

-----Int.- Exh. -----------Intake--Exhaust
200 150 117 -------------144.87--102.48
300 225 168--------------202.79--139.75
400 273 202--------------260.35--177.26
450 285 210-------------------------------
500 291 217--------------290.49--199.93
550 304 221-------------------------------
600 311 222--------------301.70--215.35
700 -----------------------292.53--222.35

All in all I would say that LPE is very honest with their results.
It is very easy for a flow bench to be different and the numbers are very close especially after 400.
Cool to see the heads don't loose that much at 700 lift.
Good work LPE, and hopefully this helps some out is considering the heads.
I would sell you mine, but after seeing the results I have 2 other sets of heads for sale because were keeping these.
Flowed real similar in compairson to the Absolute speed heads and will give much more compression.

Bench was a JMX bench or something like that.
The guy that made the bench has passed away.
Bore 3.9 bore, radius plate?????? He used clad if that is what your wondering. Pipe ='s NONE used.

JKM flow benches typically flow less than Super Flow benches by anywhere from 3%-10%. If you need anymore info about these benches you can contact me. I had to completely reconstruct mine because of a design flaw. In some ways they're better than a Super Flow and in others they're worse.

Thanks Richard.
I knew the benches were different just didn't know up to a 10% difference.
JKM was the name as I called and verified.
I use this bench because it's local, and I like having a apples to apples comparision on my own stuff.
Anyways if this is the case then it makes the numbers that much closer together.
Again just sheding some light on the CnC program from LPE.

Also let us not forget that any mill will take away a little flow unless the tested LPE's were milled the same.
I say those are consistant #'s

No arguement from me, I am acturally trying to brag about the fact that the numbers seem very legit.
As you can see in the origional post, where it says were keeping these heads.

BTW just a quick update.
Using these heas on a 370 iron block, T rex cam, 12 bolt, 6 speed, 1 3/4 hookers and true duals the car made 487 peak on one dyno and 490 on another.
Heads must have worked pretty well.

Odd that they were down 10% at 300 lift, but within a few percent everywhere else.

I agree but does the 300 lift number really mean anything in a race?

Are these the GM Performance Parts heads?(machined by LPE for GM)
I think they use a different program to port the heads they sell under the LPE brand. In any case, I have the GMPP's and the flow numbers are pretty much in line. At the lower lifts, the numbers were VERY close to the LPE numbers. Mid lift numbers were between the two and at .600" I was a little lower, 292.
I'm sure the fact that they were flowed on three different benches, possibly using different methods, accounts for the differences. Thru stock cats, and with most of the bolt on's LS6 intake, LPE LT's etc. (no UD pulley) It made 403/386 with the LPE GT2-3 cam, which is a small cam by todays standards. When I bought the heads, they were excellent price vs performance. There are more choices now, but they still are a very good value IMO.
