Poly motor mounts
Whats the trick to get the ploy motor mounts to line up? They do NOT line up like the stock ones. Unless something is different when using a 6.0L block. It seems that they are making the holes wider apart. I can't get the second bolt through! Maybe you need two people, I was working alone tonight. I will try again in the morning with some help.

I had a little trouble w/ mine too (LS1 block). I finally got it by gently prying on it. Make sure all of the K-member-to-pedestal bolts are loose. Be careful not to cross-thread it!

I had some trouble with mine too. I actually took 3 of the 4 pedestal bolts out to get mine on. Wasn't terribly easy getting it all line up, but it was worth it in the end. I would recommend loctiting the pedestal bolts, as I had 1 on each side that was barely snug.

It was tough for me too. After a bout 10 minutes of moving the motor in different angles, it finally slid through. You just have to find the right angle I think and it will go..

Yep, PITA,.....LS1...... I had the pedastal bolts in but loose....I had a floor jack under the oilpan... basically, by myself- I worked the floor jack with my foot/leg and jiggled it a bunch.. it eventually lines up.

Well with my luck something was WRONG! I got it in, but it was with a car lift, engine hoist and a floor jack. I also had to loosen the k member. No angle would work. These mounts were one inch from fitting. I've have had my motor out three times, I know it's not me. Oh well it's in.

Once I had bolts loose, I was able to get a tapered punch in the hole from the back to pry the mount close enough to the hole to get it started. One of my problems was I had the motor to high, but the punch did the trick.

When I put my motor in the driver side when right in but the pass side was a pain. i didn't have to loosen the pedistals, just had to play with a jack and engine hoist for about 30 min.

I used a large pry bar between the pedastal and clamshell, and guided the motor as I lowered the jack. Also, are you sure the mount is installed in the clamshell correctly?
