Honestly man unless you dabble into custom wheels (read: Fikse, CCW's, IForged, etc) most wheels are gonna be heavier or you're gonna have to pay A LOT of money to find some that are lighter than the stockers. 16" chrome stock wheels weigh 21.5 pounds and the silver ones weigh 19.5. AFS 17x11 ZR1's (painted) weigh 24.0. That's not THAT bad considering the AFS wheels are 1" larger in diameter and 3" larger in width.

Be sure you look at tires also. My 275/40/17 Kumho Ecsta's weigh more than my Sumitomo 315/35/17's...like significantly more. I could feel the difference easily.

I went from chrome 16x8's to a 17/18 Z06 combo (polished not chrome) and could feel a difference in acceleration. I sold those and went back to the stockers. Then I went with a 17x.9.5/11 ZR1 combo and didn't really feel too much of a difference b/w those and the stock set-up.

Man a dealership or go to some Corvette swap meet's, or shop some corvette forums on the net would be about the only place I know to look. I saw a bunch for sale last weekend here in Bowling Green. They were having the ZR1-Grand Sport show at the museum. But they were asking a pretty penny for them. I think the going rate for a 17/11 was a little over $500 dollars a piece.

EDIT: Just got on E-bay and did alittle searching because I was curious to. Here you go. It's just one but I'm sure the place has other's. It seems like I've seen them auction off some of these wheels before.

With 17/11's it's a maybe, maybe not gable on if you will have problems. If lowered then you will have to have an Adjustable Panhard rod to center the rearend back up. But if it make's you feal any better Birds have wider fenderwells. It also depends on what tires you run. Say for instance you run Goodyear GS-D3's. These tires run wider than other. You put a GS-D3 and a nitto next to each other and the GS-D3's look alot wider. It's just going to depend on your offset, tire's, and if your lowered or not. But with these in mind there's always the BFH mod (Big f@#$ing Hammer) to the inner fender. Which is done all the time so don't be scared to do it. Also some have to roll there fender's. But most likely if you run a 50mm offset your not going to have to do this. Here's a link to chek out.
