Default F13 owners inside, q's before install

Alright guys the F13 and friends are going in next week and I just want to make sure I got everything covered. Everything is listed in my sig below, I also have the belts for the pulley, ngk tr-55's, case of mobil 1 and the collent tubes for the ls6 intake. The only thing that is going to be provide at the shop are fluids, a/c recharge, and a gasket kit for the cam install. Is there anything that I have missed that could be necessary for the install?? Thanks everyone in advance, I'm getting a bit nervous on how it is going to turn out in the end

Looks likes you've got everything lined up. Just one question..... unless its a seperate deal from the cam/intake install, why are they going to need to recharge your a/c? Installation of any of the things you have listed doesn't require opening the a/c system. Just thought I'd through that out there and see if it saved you a few bucks.

Have fun with the new cam

Oil filter for that new oil
Crank pulley bolt?

And I'm curious on why you need to recharge the AC too.... No need to for a cam swap, it just have to move the condensor a little bit, no need to disconnect..

thats what I was told by the place thats installing it?? I'll give them a call? I know many of you guys would do it yourself but I just can't, to worried somthing would go wrong. the crank pulley bolt is in the gasket kit, leaving the old filter on (less then 1k on it) and I'm going to have to change it in a couple months after anyways. Thanks everyone, anything else?? Got anything for butterflies in the stomach??

The place will probably put recharging the a/c on your bill, but i doubt theyll actually do it. Like the others have suggested, the condensor just needs to be dropped slightly.

They said iit would get all banged up trying to go around it, and that it would just be easier removing it?

The condensor (thin radiator looking thingie) needs to be popped off its mounting tabs and dropped a few inches in order to slide the old cam out and put the new one back in. I cant imagine unhooking and refilling being easier.

Yeah the condenser is easy as hell to get out of the way. Tie it up to the hood or drop it out the bottom a little, its up to you. I was surprised how much the lines could actually flex when I was moving it. Tell them not to worry about removing the condenser. Its not worth having them "service" your AC system.
