10sec SS vs Vega Sat Night a few of my friends and I cruise up to a new spot. Our local hangout was getting boring so we figured we would try sumthin different. Well soon as we stroll up in the lot ,the parking lot manager or so he thought he was, came up and said " You wanna run a vega" no hi no nothing. So we bs for a while with his dumb ***. It ended up he would set me out 10 cars in the 1/8. He wants to go for $500. I have not seen the car but it is said to be a stock supension non tubed, driveable street car. I told them I would run this weekend but the vega has to drive to the race no trailer, and I told them no race if they roll out with a full race car. Does this sound like a quick $500 or am I gettin hustled.

on motor or spray? if it's ricky's white one it runs high 10's on motor and 9.90's 10.0's on spray. the red one i've never seen run. the blue and white runs like 6.50's in the 1/8th and the blue one is a high 8 9.0 car on the juice.

wait, am i readin this wrong, he is giving u 10 car lengths for an 1/8 mile??u have a10 sec ss...waste him.. get his money, there is no way he is making that up and that short amount of time

Let's see....10 cars=160ft. It's got to take at least 2 sec to get to 160', doesn't it? Are you willing to bet you are within 2 secs of his 1/8th time? At any rate, its all about the hook for your 500' sprint, so make sure you everything allowed to maximize traction. If he runs slicks, you better have 'em, too. Make sure you get a full 160'. Make sure its only a 1/8th run. Have a buddy keep a close eye out for an early jump (its going on behind you.) The devil's in the details when $500 is at stake.

hell yea, doubt he will cut any better than a 1.6 on the street for 60 ft...so thats already almot 2 secs of time....race his ***...he is gonna have to be john force to beat u
