Went WOT for the first time after FAST 90/90 combo and VE tune. results inside
Well, the car sure feels a hell of alot faster. I still have the maf fail freq set to "0" but wanted to record maf lb/min. My highest maf/lb min previous to the setup was 44.63lb per min. The car now sees a max of 46.53lb per min. My highest dyn cyl air previous to the FAST setup was .85 and is now .94. I think I am out of injector though. For safety I set my PE table to 1.350 across the entire RPM range. As you start out it's pretty rich at 950mv and slowly leans out by redline to 880mv. My injector pw at 6500 rpms is 21ms which puts me at about 105% duty cycle. I start to surpass 80% at like 4500 rpms. The breakdown on the duty cycle is this:
Rpms:-Duty cyle%
4500-79%
5000-87%
5500-97%
6000-110%
6500-119%
My guess is that one of 2 things are happening. Either I am making a shitload more power, or I am commanding way too much fuel. I think it's a combination of the two. Once I get to the dyno this friday I'll have some concrete numbers for us to view. I think it's time for some new injectors huh? In the meantime, here are some screenshots of the VE table/chart.
This is the pick of the chart. You can see at 6000 rpms still rich at 898mv but injectors are at 22+ms.

Come on VE experts give me some input!!
Also, If I plan on doing a 408 in the future and possibly a 100 shot dry what size injectors should I go with? Any suggestions on what will work for big cubes that I can upgrade to now?

Your AF might be fine. You need a wideband to be sure. Your MAF airflow is really jumpy. Mine is never that jumpy at WOT. And it is messing with your timing too. My timing stays flat at WOT. You may have a MAF issue, or something is flaky in your tune.

I haven't done anything with the maf yet. It's plugged in but still using the stock table. I need to recalibrate the maf. The timing looks dead on. I'm commanding 23-24* at wot. I may go back and bump up the timing a bit. I only was messing with timing tables up to .88gcyl. It's starts pulling .5* for every range after that. Why do you think maf airlfow is jumpy? Want to take a look at the tune?

Yeah, i went back to take a look again at my timing tables and they are fine. I'm not commanding one absolute value across the rpm range. I have it so that as dyn cyl air increases timing goes down. That is why why there is a downward trend with the timing line in the chart. I don't know why I have the little hiccups in it though. In the begining of the pull I'm commanding 24* then it drops to 23.5 then back to 24 with now KR. That's strange.
Give me some suggestions to check. Would the maf airflow vs. output freq table make it look like that? It's stock and I havne't calibrated it yet.

Where exactly in VE the table are you refering to pro mouse? If it's the upper RPM ranges I really only tuned acurately to about 4800-5200 rpms. For the remainder (5600 and up) the sample data I had was very small so I just corrected with what little I had and hand smoothed from there.

The upper VE looks rich,But I forgot your set up is alittle more agressive than mine,I go all the way to 6800 with my set up.I am comparing my VE to your VE ,even your VE 4400 up range is Higher than mine is.Mine was tuned on a mustang dyno with wide band o2's.After you get your car tuned on a dyno with wide bands,I would be very interested in seeing your VE table....

I go to 6500rpms and shift normally. I make peak power at 6350 and then it goes flat. I was doing my VE tuning on the road but couldn't find a road where I could do the very upper rpm range safely and without getting arrested for noise violations.
