Theres this kid with a ford lighting that runs mid 12's, and thinks he can beat me. With my mods below, I expect to have at least 400rwhp. I know 400rwhp in a LS1 is good for at least VERY low 12s, high 11s. What do you think I will run in the 1/4 mile? I know I can beat this ford lightening.

edit: Basically my mods are FULL bolt ons, FM14(untuned right but will be tuned by east side performance by the time of the race), and LCA and Subframe connectors. I know for a fact i'll have 400rwhp, tell me different if I am wrong.

I wouldnt be Positive on the 400rwhp.. probably around 385+ but dont count on 400.

You should win, his only real fight against you is off the line. At higher speeds they dont ahve the aerodynamcis to really run as hard as they do on the hit.

W/ the HP you're putting down, it's going to be close. I'd say w/i maybe a car or a half. If he's modded at all, expect some competition. I know. I just had a run-in w/ one with my car. Good Luck. See ya on the streets.

I actually raced 1 a week ago and it was good. We were at a red light and i didnt think he would do anything, then the light turned green and it was on , so i gunned it and i can hear his SC spool up and takes off.. The Closest he got was at my SS emblem . At around 75 i was about 3 cars in front.. I only have Pacesetters LT catted y and cut-out.. SS-moke his *** and hit us back..

I dont think a roots blower spools up. You heard the whine. Those things have no lag, especially on the bottom side of the RPMs. Torque and boost through out the entire RPM range

Depends on if he really runs mid-12s. It will be close then. He's obviously upped the boost somewhat, plus the other std changes. Unless he's full of bs.
