Me vs NSX and Me vs. 02 stang GT
Raced an awesome looking NSX like 5 minutes ago on the highway, we took off from about 70 ( i was in 3rd) and we were even and when I hit 4th I went for a little bit I had a full car length on him...I was impressed by my 2000 stock SS. Then I miss my exit and turn around and race a 02 stang GT that had a good 2-3 second jump on me and I still slaughtered him bad, so bad...terribly bad but I think it was stock other than exhaust so that was no surprise.....I am just happy to beat an NSX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

If it was a '91-'95 NSX, then that's no surprise. 270 hp, 1/4 mile usually upper 14's. That's with the manual. With the auto, they only had 252 hp and ran low 15's. The '96+ got a bigger engine, extra gear for the manuals, but still only have 290 hp and no torque. They usually run anywhere from mid 13's to mid 14's depending on how the driver launches them (slower again with the auto). From a roll they hang a bit better with us, but an LS1 is still quicker/faster (not top speed though, we're limited about 5 mph less lol).
Anyways, good kill.

thanks for the props, but the way that he was neck and neck with me all through 3rd but I pulled good in fourth I would say it was probably one of the newer ones.......never beat a car that would most likely be classified as exotic before

Had a 2000+ NSX for breakfast before. As long as you can get them through 3rd, you're okay. Of course, if it's windy or your on a twisty road, you're screwed, unless you're non-stock suspension-wise. Luckily, I am.
Actually, I was surprised this guy wanted to play SO HARD. We went all the way up till 140mph, then something flew off of his car and he pulled off the side of the road.

props on getting an NSX to run. i've probably tried to get about 8 or 9 of them and they never go. they usually won't even look at me, or they get their cell phone out once i start reving. they must not like it when we remind them of how they wasted 70 grand on an exotic "looking" car

YEah I know I don't know why you would pay so much for something that is that fast (awesome at handling though)... but I must say that car look bad *** I personally would have gone for a porsche if I was him

To me, the NSX looks like a domesticated exotic. It's a characture of a Ferrari/Lambo, but it's clearly Honda deep down. I find the looks of the S2000 and that new Saturn roadster concept more "exotic".
That's my opinion... that and 25 cents will get you a piece of bubblegum.
