Default Weird noise in my Tranny

Once in a while when I downshift to 4th it makes a grinding noise like I didn't press the clutch all the way down..This happened a few times already. What could this be?? Is my clutch almost out?? New clutch? seems fine, it just happens every once in a while

worn blocker or worn 3/4 fork or both. Swap in an iron 3/4 fork. I am assuming you have a 99( in your name), this would mean you have an aluminum fork. BTW your Cobra has an irom fork - How do you like the car?

If you have clashed it awhile, I would change the synchro assembly and the fork. If the blocker is worn , change that too but I suspect it will be ok. If this has just started you could get away with just a fork change.Any Tremec dealer can get the fork( you could also go to a GM or Ford dealer if you enjoy pain)
