im cruising up rt8 looking for some action when this 5.0 stang pulls out behind me and my buddy. he ends up cruising passed us and i see a 5" monster tach and smell race gas so im thinking wow we might gotta race here. so im behind him at a red light and i beep asking him if he wants to run'em, he said yea and ask me if i was on nitrous...i said nope all motor. well he pulls onto rt422 1st and im telling you guys, i wasnt even on 422 yet and i hear him doing the 3 honk, i was about 3 cars behind him . by the time he hit the gas i was about 1 car behind him but it didnt matter, it looked like i got shot from a cannon thats how fast i went passed him. my buddy said i put 10 cars on him then i shut down. we pulled over to talk and i asked him what he had done, he said headers& exhaust, 3:73s, underdrive pulley and some other small boltons. i asked him why is he running race gas and he said it doesnt run right on anything else. he does have a 75 shot but didnt have it hooked up. he was cool and complimented my car. it was fun but i thought he would have had alot more done since hes running the race gas.

I've always been leary of fox's. Kept my guard up regardless of looks. I used to want one so bad back in the day. Beautiful cars when they are kept up.

Way to keep setting the stangs down. You never know about the fox bods. I read once that 15 seconds or 9 seconds....they all sound the same. Around here it seems the ones that look fast are nothing but the beaters are the ones to watch out for.

this guy also has a black LX and he dropping in a 383 stroker with a big roller cam, victor jr heads, i know its gonna be pump gas but he wants 10s outta it. he said we'll have to race again when he gets that car out.

i had a guy try to race me last weekend in some POS crx. We pull aside to chat and he wants me to come back this weekend and run his 10 second street legal stang. Hmmmmmm...catback LS1 vs. 10 sec street legal stang..hmmmmmmmm...i sude run him just fro the hell of it

he shouldnt be running race gas in his bolton 5.slow if he didnt want to get smoked. when i see or in this case "smell" a worthy oponent there gonna be race happening.
