Default TEA or AFR for my cam?

i'm deciding whether i should spend the $2k for the AFRs or save some money and go with the TEA heads. I got the ASA cam with 1.85 rockers. my questions is, will the TEA heads perform as well as the AFRs since my cam won't have that high of a lift ( .571 w/ 1.85 rockers)?? or should i spend the money on the AFRs? it's not a Daily driven car BTW.

i'd opt for the AFR's myself; better low/mid lifts and velocity.

well if it's good for low/mid lifts, should i not put on the 1.85 rockers?

there flow are good throughout the whole curve. i dont see a problem adding the 1.85 rockers as they will allow you to take advantage of the new found CFM.

a few guys in our club have AFR's and some of us have TEA's.. i havent seen where AFR is better enough then TEA's to justify the price.. just my 2 cents.. AFR's are nice and have good flows, but they arent god:-P

i'd get TEA's again even if I had the cash for AFR's, but thats just me.. goodluck on whichever you pick, cause they both should egt you the results you want. If you think AFR's are that much better, then get them If you think TEA's is good enough, then get those. Give TEA a call and chat with them before you make any choices

thanks for the input, i just don't wanna go the "cheap"way out. i wanna get the most hp/tq out of a set of heads possible. i'm not saying TEA heads are cheap, i just want heads that will perform the best.
