Default LS1 Cam Questions

I want really good low-end for my LS1 motor that I'm gonna be putting my truck. i just want some reassurance on my decision. From what I understand guys with 224/224 cams and bigger loose some torque from off idle say 800-1700rpms, right? This area is very important to me because I don't want to loose any torque compared to a stock LS1, for towing reasons. I basically want to gain more hp/tq across the board without sacrificing any, if little low-end and shift at around 6300rpms. So which cam would be best for me? I will have headwork done to an extra set of 5.3 heads as well. I'm gonna use Cammotion/FMS lobes:

-216/222-113
-218/224-112 or 113
-220/224-113

Thanks for the link, but I can't seem to find much in the truck section about 5.7 LS1, just the truck motors.

Thanks for the info, do you have true duals.

Did anybody else feel an increase/decrease in the 800-1700rpm range after a cam swap? Thanks.
