Default How long did your stock clutch last?

How many miles and how hard do you drive the car?
Just trying to gauge how much longer mine will last but I only have 28K miles on it so I should be OK for a while. I have an 01 so I have the Z06 clutch I guess. It still functions just fine. I love getting rubber on 1-2 and 3-4 shifts. Also, a couple times I cold smell the clutch burning when my clutch pedal acted up & didn't fully engage the clutch so I'm curious how much life that took off

Mine lasted 87K miles, but mine is a daily driver. No track time and I only occasionally did any hard launches. It got replaced when my pilot bearing went south.

I did my motor swap with 30,xxx on the clock and did a new clutch when it was out. The clutch disk still had alot of meat left and the press plate/flywheel had no hot spots on it. The car is not daily driven so when I get it out it's ***** to the wall.

Currently have 77K miles on mine... it was holding up just fine til I started to beat the living hell out of it on purpose recently. It still shifts fine with regular driving but when I try to have any fun now... it's a bitch Waiting for a chance to get my new clutch/slave installed but the ole stocker is holding up OK for now.

Just turned 99K, I wonder if it's a Record ?
Car is Daily Driver through the Week and Street Racer on Weekends
30+ Track runs but No hard launches

Last two times at the track it slipped bad in 3rd and 4th, but still grabs pretty hard on the street. Probably should do the drill mod but I'm to Lazy, I'll just upgrade the Hydraulics when I get a new Clutch.

About 51K for me. It was doing OK until I got the LTs/ORY/Dyno tund and a few other goodies. I could tell it was getting a little weak. I pretty much finished it off when I put a set of DRs on and made a couple track passes. The car was bone stock when I got it at 45K and had been driven nicely, however it was female owned/driven. I believe the owner had a slight tendency to ride the clutch a bit much. I have driven it pretty hard. Quite a few "slip the clutch" type launches to try and get traction. The 3700 RPM launch on heated DRs really sealed it's fate though.

Mine had 35Kmi on it, it was OK til I took it to the track and put slicks on it. Then it bit the dust.

mine started to slip at 1,500 miles after about 30 track passes on a full slick cutting 1.62 60ft.s The best the stock clutch would hold up to was a 11.5 with a 1.62 60ft. Since then I have upgraded to a spec 3I and have cut best 60ft. of 1.57 The clutch is still good for the street on street tires but a set of slicks at the track will kill the stock clutch

105k with no signs of slipping.
Just replaced with a ram hd due to nitrous install and the original lokked like it still had some life.
This is a daily driver so I try not to beat on it

I'm having the dealer put a new z06 clutch and flywheel in. Pluss my master and slave is getting warrantied gotta love the gmpp major guard.

Same here. I noticed problems on the 2nd/3rd shift at around 37K. If you're driving an 02, the Z06 was suppose to have been in it originally.
