Default LS1 vs. CBR600 F3 and a CBR600 F4I

First race: I went off a 45 mph roll with a CBR F4I before my Kook's and FTRA and we raced until 100. I lost by a car length. I got the jump and the rider is about 230lbs.

Second race: I went off another 45 mph roll with an older CBR F3 with all my mods in sig. We raced only to 70 and he had me by 1 car length.

Third race: Me and the guy with the CBR F3 went again on the same nite from 40, and I got a slight jump and was able to hold him off to about 75 until we had to get on the brakes. The guy with the F3 weighs about 145 lbs.

We are all buddies but always like to compete so I know these guys were tryin' hard to beat me.

then either those guys cant ride or their bikes are running like ****. there is no way a bolt on ls1 would be within a car length of one of those bikes.

Thats what I thought, but it is the street and anything can happen there I guess. I'm sure if they took their bikes to the track that they would run better times then I would. If it is too much for some people to believe then stick to reading the "Drag Racing" section where there are time-slips to throw around.

Just because they were "trying their bestest hardest in the whole wide world" doesn't mean they can ride worth a ****.

Believe it, I was there and both guys shifted well and didn't miss shifts. Again anything is possible on the street!

A new CBR600rr runs high 10's. Im not sure about the F4i though. Pretty much same engine except for ergonomics. F4i is suppose to be more comfortable.

Nice kill. Nice ego-booster. Now u can say "I beat a couple bikes the other night."

Alright...who called the pom pom crew?

Your buddy did not lose to a WELL RIDDEN 600 F4i by one car length. He lost to a VERY poorly ridden F4i by a car. Want proof? Here is a vid a of a WELL ridden F4i w/ a 210+ lb rider vs 540 rwhp twin turbo '98 SS ls1. The car loses by roughly a car length. Your buddy's car has AT LEAST 200 rwhp less than that car. Thanks for playing. Class dismissed.

Right! There wasn't any money involved and they weren't even planned races. I know what these bikes are capable of doing, beleive me. I am not one of those guys who thinks his "bolt-on LS1 is God and can hang with crotch rokets". I do beleive though that for a crotch rocket to run 10's or even 11's, it takes an awesome driver. But I also know that these guys were not pulling my chain or anything like that and they did not miss a shift. It is the street and I'm sure everyone on this forum has at one time or another beaten a car or bike that they weren't "suppsed" to beat or they lost to a car that they weren't "supposed" to lose to. That's why we race 'em!

Ok ****-***. You seem to have some kind of emotional tie in here with my kill story. Did you get dragged down the 1320' by an F4I in the past or someting? Like I said man, it was on THE STREET where anything can happen. And if they "lost on purpose" like some people think then that sucks for them.

No, I know the people in the vid. I was trying to show you what it takes to even hang with a well ridden F4i. If you comprehended that from the video you would see that it took 540 rwhp. Not a bolt on mullet.

I hope you are wrong cause i dont wanna lose liek that to a ****** 600cc bike. That would **** me off. It does appear that he is catchin the bike at the far end but what can ya do. Have fun guys!

This man knows what he's talking about. On that page you can see the same turbo SS walking the same 600cc bike after upped boost and tuning.

I didn't read but about half of this thread and I'm gonna have to call B.S. on this one.. There is no way in hell that you outran a F4i with just bolt-ons.. I raced one about 2 hours ago and he busted my ***. I know it was modded, cause I sprayed a 150 shot on his *** and he still pulled me on his back tire.. My car is around 450rwhp too.
