Default ??engine bay detailing question??

Is there anything that can bring out the color of the dull paint on the strut towers and around the engine bay?

How about something less invasive? ...at least until the winter projects begin in several months.

Try some CD2 Engine Detailer, it still is a matte finish since there's no clearcoat but it made things shine a little better.

Just get the new Zaino ZPC paint polish. It is for paint without clearcoats. It should be easy to use and should have great results.

I put NXT on all of my painted parts under the hood. It does'nt shine like the body paint, but it makes a big difference in my oppinion. This is'nt a great pic, but gives you alittle bit of an idea of what it will do.

Since it's just body-colored primer, I'd be careful not to rub it out too much. It's a very thin layer of primer, and it's easy to expose bare metal.

you can put a very, very light coat of polish on it an dit should shine up. Don't put too much or it will all be soaked up and then it will look more ashy.

You can tell what the CD2 does in this pic (drivers side). It is very easy to use. Just spray it on to a clean engine and let it dry.
