382/383 stroker? Compression?
How much power would a 382 stroker ls1 with maybe at least a 630 lift make?hoping to make 500+ horsepower. what problems would arise.
what would be the maximum compression ratio that I could have with a 383 stroked and fully cammed in order to keep it streetable

Its gona be hard to get the amount of power out of a stroker, with a big bore motor on the other hand itll be easier because you could run a stage 3 head (opening up the chamber more and unshrouding the valves, and youd gain head flow combustion efficency and a list of other things.

You could do it with 11:1...I made 480rwhp with only .595 and billet flywheel, steel driveshaft and moser 4.11. A good stage 2 head like rapid or AFR 225 will do it. Or you could do an LS2 and push 550.

It is all in the heads and cam combo (high flow intake/TB too). That motor is gonna want to move some air so at least 2.05 intake valves needed. 1.6 exht.
But do not get wrapped up in peak HPs. Under the curve power is where it will shine.
