Default Anyone with 400+ cubes using a LS2 intake (search is down)

Im wondering if an LS2 intake is worth putting on a 408,(since there less $240) than trying to see if theres ANY gains over an LS6 intake... and to see if the gains (if any) are CLOSE to a 90/90 setup.

I already know they (LS2) suck on STOCK CUBES, I'm just wondering if the additional cubes make a difference or if my only option is an LSX 90mm intake

also what are you stroker guys gaining going from an LS6 to LSX 90 intakes?

TIA

I believe the LS6 intake flows better on the LS2 motor than the LS2 intake does on the LS2 motor. I don't think cubes make a difference. The LS6 is just a better intake.

Well the LS2 was DESIGNED for the 4.00" bore motor.

Mine works just fine. And even if i could pick up 20-25rwhp for 1k....i would spray it for 1k and pick up about 300+. Cant justify the extra cost for that lil' gain.

check sig for numbers and its still not done tuning. not to mention those numbers are with 40 miles on the motor. And its makin more hp/tq than some 408s with bigger cams and LSX intakes...go figure.

You already have an LS6 intake, why not use that? The LS6 intake will make more power on a 408 than an LS2 will.

Thats what im trying to find out guys: If the LS2 is better than the LS6: ON BIG MOTORS (not on stock cubes: i know the LS2's suck on stock cubes)

IF I have to: I'll get a 90/90 setup..... but if an LS2 intake is only like a 10rwhp difference than the LSX 90..... I'll save myself the $875 get a LS2 for $230, and sell my LS6 intake for $250

Thats what I've been trying to tell you. From the dynoes I've seen, the LS6 is better than the LS2 even on BIG MOTORS.
