did you buy a new air lid? That can create a whistleing sound. I would not worry about it.

The performance lids do that sometimes, the factory lid has built in silencers to quiet more turbulent air.

It is a air turbulence issue I think. is it stock? tell us the mods if any. I dont think it is an issue unless it hurts your ears.

check power steering fluid level. check Accessory belt tensioner. check A/C belt tensioner. Turn up the radio.

my g/f's 94 cutlass gets no radio reception. when it's on radio mode, all you hear is static (sounds like a noisy foghorn) that rises and falls in pitch as her rpm's go up and down. its one of the weirdest damn things I've ever heard.

I have the stereo system thats in my sig and mine used to whistle too, but only when the radio was on and at low levels. It was due to a bad ground wire in my case. If yours is more of a whistling noise coming from your engine bay its probably some moisture on one of your belts. Mine does it every so often. If there isnt an SES light or it isnt always there then I wouldnt worry about it but if the noise is there all the time then you might want to get it checked out. Hope that helps!
