i know it works, but why give up the manly feeling a gen 1 engine gives out, the low down torque is what gets me.

I have that firing order in my SBC. The motor made killer torque 595@ 5500 and still made hp at 8200. It also took all the reversion out of the intake plus the car idles at 800rpm no problem.

i know this, i have some pretty powerfulle sbc/bbc/ls1s, its just that at the 400-500 hp range, you cant beat the sbc/bbc feel. ls1s just dont have it, but they rev much higher and make power up there. also like madman said your going to need to do a few other modifications.

he said nothing about other mods.. besides the only thing id have to do besides move all the wires is move injector plugs. im sure my motor would have a very unique sound too... im all for being different..lol.

All you have to change is the firing order of the sparkplugs and the injector sequence.
