Nice. You do the work yourself? I like how both sides are matched. Amp rack is good.

Thank you everyone!

I had never done any fiberglass work before, so I had a friend help me... alot. (actually he did almost all the work) Both sides were matched by using the factory panel for the top.

By the way, the box takes up then ENTIRE passenger side area.

Is that a W7? Or W6v2? Either way the box and amp rack are VERY nice. Three thumbs up!

First... EVERYTHING is a one-off custom fab.
Second it is a 10W7. The amps are JL 500/1 and 300/4 and at night the fins are lit up with red neon (don't worry, you can't see the bulbs, just the light) I'll get a pic sometime and post it.

Firebirdude: Yours is pretty clean, I like it. I thought about doing something like that, but I wanted space for my t-tops! And I didn't want anyone to see it if I didn't want them to!

I don't have any writeups... it was just a basic plan on what I wanted to have and be able to do.. but here are a few pics of the pre-install. The cool thing is that there is absolutely no trim covering up the box at all.. (You see the whole top of the box!) We used the original trim piece to form the top of the box so it matched up perfectly!

I have a few more pics, but I haven't gotten them developed yet.. maybe I'll do that tomorrow.. (a few with the neons on too)

And no I haven't gotten it checked for SPL yet... I really didn't care as long as it sounded good to me. I probably should though.

Anyone in Houston have a SPL meter I could use?

Oh, and I would take the box out to take pics... but it is a PAIN IN THE ***... I have to basically disassemble the whole system in order for it to come out... (makes it a little more difficult to steal.. Not to mention it is held in the trunk by not only pressure-fitting, but also a few screws! Like I said PITA!

The equipment is the heaviest part... the box is mostly fiberglass... plus I removed the spare tire and jack...

ring, ring.. "ummm yea, can you bring my spare?"

Nice in deed

I wouldnt worry too much about a spare. My car doesnt even have one from the factory.
