1 7/8 headers? Who all makes em?
I know QTP and Kooks make some. I kinda hate to spend 1K on headers. I thought about going with a kooks 1 7/8 stepped to a 2".
I was wondering if any other companies made headers that aren't stainless?
BTW.... there is going to be a need for at least an 1 7/8 header.... engine is in sig.

why are you going to spend all that money on a motor and skimp out on headers? get the good ones, you might regret it if you save a few hundred bucks and lose 5-10rwhp b/c they don't make the same power. not to mention the fact that they'll probably look like *** after six months to a year.
btw, if you would like us to merge your old account with this one, post up in the user support & resources forum and request it.

I would think you can call any sponsor that sells them and they will order them for you. Keep checking the sale section and they pop up there every now and then at a discounted price. I would call speed inc and see if they carry them they will price match even sale prices.

I have the race stainless Kooks 1 7/8 to 2" headers with welded on 3 1/2" collectors....vey very nice headers. I will be installing them in the next 2 weeks.
I had FLP 1 3/4" coated, had to respray the underside of the rusty *** headers every couple of months,
get the Kooks, I got mine via speedinc

I'd like to get $700 for the setup. The headers are not coated.

I also went with the Kooks Y pipe, which is a 3" Y pipe with 3 1/2" inlet/outlet. I then have a Stainless Works 3 1/2" cat back. I should have about the most free flowing exhaust that will easily fit on a F body!
