Default Clutch break in

i just put in a ram powergrip hd clutch about how many miles should i put on it before i start shifting hard again

I don't think there's any difference between the two, but, I just put a SPEC III in and the paper work I got with it said wait 450 miles. Hope that helps.

Call Ram Tech line. They told me no break-in is required. I drove about 100miles then drove the sh*t out of it.

When I got my RAM I was told 500 miles.

I called ram too and they said no brake in as well. Jason from TSP told 3 to 4 hundred miles then let her rip. I babyed mine around for a bout 300 then hammered on it. no problems.

They rplied and said "Thanks for the inquiry. This setup does not need an extended break in period - I'd say about 200 mi would be more than enough."

WS6GoFast, You are pretty close to me. I am looking for some help with changing 3/4 synchro. Or maybe someone with a lift and a little knowledge and help. I've rebuilt engines but never messed with any kind of tranny.
