There ain't nothing to it...you can do the whole thing by yourself..I had my GF lay on the creeper and hold the new headers in place from under the car while I got a couple of the header bolts started on each side...outside of that you can do it all alone.. without air tools you can do it in a few hours...all my smog stuff was already gone I got rid of it when the Z06 intake went on....so I didn't have to deal with any of that...

Installing them on my vette was a bit of a bitch. Took a full day, but I did it in my driveway (garage was not finished at the time). Only had two problems: 1. Driver's side header gasket was/is bad and needs to be replaced. 2. Forgot to put on my goggles and got a piece of metal in my eye. That happend on a Friday. Went all weekend with the metal in my eye until I got it removed that monday (at a price of $350).

ok well i finally got them both on, i think i set a new all time high....18hrs and change lol. and thats just the headers and o2 sims. no ypipe or anything has been put on. and i know i talked to someone about a tune and if you are still willing to help me out i need it badly. there is so much backfiring and hesitation its not even funny. once i ride into about the 3k range it evens out but shifting normally is a no go.

I stopped by there today about 12:30 and walked in where your car was on the lift and saw that you had the driver side in(no one was around so I didn't hang) so glad to see you got them in Now understand if you fired it up open headers it will sound "nascar" but wont run that well at all, fit the y pipe etc and see how it does, it should run fairly decent, headers by themselves wont screw up drivabilty that bad at all. if it still runs like **** there is another problem....
