Is a trans cooler necessary with TC 3500 stall.

Is it possible to install the transcooler after the shop puts the TC and Flexplatein? Because I kind of already ordered the TC and flexplate already. I have the appointment next week. Someone told me I can hold off and do the transcooler install my self because it is easy.

I know a few guys that arent running coolers and they have BIG stalls.. But, they don't drive them on the street every day either. So, in my opinion I'd go ahead and spend the $50 bucks and be done with it. Cheap Insurance!

My tranny cooler should be here soon. I can put it in the car now, correct? (on the stock converter)
As for your question: YES YES YES. Emphasis cannot be put more on it. If you're running a bigger converter than stock, a tranny cooler is a must. I believe the biggest one you can get is B&M's 24,000 and it is only about $55. If you can afford the converter, you may as well put a little extra into protection for it and your tranny.
