Default $255 for TC install alot?

The local performance shop told me it'd cost $255 to install a torque converter and a tranny cooler. does that sound like too much?

Most around here charge $200 just to pull and replace the tranny. Sounds like a great price to me.

I paid $350 here in Jax just for the TC, and had to do the cooler myself. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Used to be a place here that did it for $220 for everything. They shut down though. $250 is a standard price in these parts and it can run you up to $350. That price is a good price if you are nervous or dont have the tools to try it yourself.

I paid 300.00 at MTI for my Yank 3200 install. However price is not the only thing that matters, is the labor backed with warranty. If the answer is yes then you have a good price.
