Southern Members - New Cam installed

Finished it up yesterday afternoon. Brother STARK (Mike)... :thumb: :thumb: gave me a hand with the install...put a new oil pump, chain, water pump, 160* thermo, rocker arms, dual springs, seats, seals, push rods, titainium retainers, and 233\233 .595\.595, 112 LSA +2 TSP cam...the car has 80K miles on it so I replaced a couple of things since I had it torn down..sounds good but really needs a tune..getting that done Friday and some dyno time..I am hoping for some good numbers...I'll post up the results..test drove :drive: it to the Wed. nite gathering at the Hoootaaas... :chug: ..I have had these parts sitting in the garage for a couple of months and finally got around to doing the install..been real busy at work...finally I just said the hell with it took a day off and did it..gotta get your priorities straight... :jest:..got a nice compilment from a couple of guys at the QT this morning on the way to work...when I fired it up and they heard the idle they started grinning :D and gave me the ol thumbs up!!!.. :thumb:..That made the skinned knuckles worth while.. :)

Hay Nick..I went with the LS2 chain..it didn't cost much and since I work at a dealer I got a deal on it.. :) ..I think it was like $25 or $26 ...did you check the photo of your car???...there is a smuge on the side...better buff that out man... :devil: :jest:

Hell, if you'd want to come on by and throw out pointers when I do my H/C swap you can have all the beer you can drink. Probably gonna do it here in a few weeks.

Still need to get an ORY, timing chain, oil pump, gaskets

Prob only root beer for me...kinda sucks bein 19...i was out towards the one at mall of Georgia this past wednesday. I will have to run up there once i get my wheels/tires and springs put on. Which one is it again?

FYI hay Nick or whatever you name is now.. :devil: :D ..I don't wax em..ya know I hate shinnin shit..I have Apple Polishing do mine twice a year..the whole deal..clay bar and polish and sealer..dirt jumps on and then jumps right back off..I just apply soap and water on special ocassions... :cool:

Got it tuned yesterday by Evilz28nos & Cammin BeaSSt up at GMMG...it runs great..I am real pleased with the way it drives now..I'm ready :drive: when you are Bobby.. :)

The Driver mod :drive: was never a need in my case sir.. :D I imigine that I will still suffer from lack of traction now more than before....but I didn't build it for the track..its just a hot rod that hauls my fat a$$ around...Mikey..You know my $hit is never dusty..you must have me confused with SS Rallyred... :devil: :jest:
