Any of you guys run a similiar cam on a stock converter for a little while?

I'd do the converter first-JMO. Much more bang for the dollar spent. What are your goals for the setup? That is a big cam for a fairly stock setup.

I also have a 9 inch but iam waiting for the 10 bolt to blow first.
The reason I am waiting on the converter is I also have a TH400 and a 3200 stall in the garage but I was going to wait till I lost a gear before putting that it.
They guy from Comp told me that it could be done and driveable but just sluggush on the bottom end.
