Hmm...Ellis won't be home till real late tonight, but I will ask him when I talk to him on the phone later. Does he have your #?

That is a typical cam + stall converter code Doug. Someone needs to go in & set all the Misfire cells to 32546 or whatever the # is. Then the PCM won't have any problems. It is caused by the PCM reading the Cam Position Sensor & the motor is surging & it freaks out. Ryan K made a post in the PCM section a while back about how to fix it. It used to be a sticky....Ellis or Rick or me or even you can fix it with HPT. :)

Doug most likley it is because of the cam, MOst people that install a cam get that code, not all the time just evry once and a while. When i first installed the cam I got that code about once a month untill i got hp tuners and turned it off. It has something to do with the reverb through the intake.

Here is the skinny. All seems to be ok until I get to the 3/4 shift. Seems to be struggling to make this shift? Then the SES comes on and my numbers go from normal to over 18 on the Engine Load and my ST's and LT's on bank 2 go way up. I also noticed the missing after this takes place.

I would love to, but I have to work tomorrow. I will probably check and see if Ellis can take a look at it on Saturday. Either that or you can come over on Sat. and we can both hook up with Ellis. Maybe log some #'s and have him check them out.

Alright then, I have Friday off too. If the weathers not too hot I was going to go to the Nationals Friday, but if it's gonna be hot I'll be passing on that so we do it friday.

I know a bunch of them are going to the Nats on Saturday and Ellis might be one of them.

Get that quartermile time in your siggy will ya!

I think I already told you all you need to know. Been there, done that. Like I said, go search the tuning forum for Ryans post. It causes the converter to lock & unlock, and throws the timing all out of whack. This is a KNOWN problem, and it has an EASY fix. Open your tuning file, open "Engine Diagnostics", select "Misfire", and enter 32767 into every cell you can find. Problem should be solved....

Love Santa :jest:
