Camaro Tuners?
Hello all... first post online. Have a small question. I have a 2001 Camaro SS with the LS6 swap done. First and foremost I have these mods done:
Thunder Racing heads (202)
Comp Cam (224-228-534-537-113)
Crane Roller Rockers (1.8)
Fast Intake
12-Bolt Moser rear-end (4.11 ratio)
4L60E w/Vigilante torque converter w/3200 stall
Metzler electric water pump.
Question that I have is this: I have had the computer sent to various programmers trying to get the it nailed down. I have had no luck in the past two years. It doesn't like to idle, and since the heads/cam install, the car is no faster. I have had it 11.74@117.59 w/ 1.62 60ft time. What I need is to have the car chassis tuned to put it all together. The downside is that I am the far reaches of northern New York state. Does anyone have any idea how does the best tune on these cars. It is really getting to be more than annoying. There is way more than 11-second runs in this car.
Just looking for a little insight in this. So far I have had Zekes Automotive in Lachine PQ do the LS6 swap and had Ed Wrights and MTI do the computer tune and these tunes have left mde less than satisfied. It is to the point where I have UPS on speed dial to ship the computer. I need to get the whole car 'integrated'! :o)
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Leroy.

mail order is going to be a shot in the dark... find a dyno by you and get it dyno tuned or buy a wideband sensor and send the tuner the scans so they can see where the car runs rich.... or buy a full tuner and wideband and tune yourself

If you have an EASE scanning program, you can send a scan of your car to a tuner like TeamZR1, and then it's not a shot-in-the-dark. He will have the same data you have, and with years and years of exerience tuning he absolutely could nail your tune

Yeah Noyzee i plan on getting my car tuned there after i get my 04 LS6 motor in my car. I live like 10 mins from there shop. Hey Noyzee the tune is like 550 right and dont i get like 3 dyno runs too? I'm gonna get the codes for EGR and AIR disabled also would not having the AC Pump and tubbing not pluged in to cause a code? i dont plan on leaving ac stuff in i never use it. Thanks
