Default Sept. 05 issue of Popular Hot Rodding

On page 44 starts a feature on a 69 camaro with a modded ls1 in it. The owner Stevenn Rupp used to be a moderator on the forums! Ne-ways on the bottom of page 45 theres a pic of the engine bay. What are those covers adjacent to the intake manifold on either side? I want it, PLEASE SCHOOL ME IF THIS IS A NEWB QUESTION I JUST WANNA KNOW WHERE I CAN GET IT? Thank you for any input

Those covers are FRCs or Fuel Rail Covers...they are OEM equipment on Corvettes and GTOs...they can be modified to fit on f-bodies...just do a quick search on FRC and you should find a ton of threads about them.

BTW, Steve is still a moderator on this forum...Steve1969LS1

I believe Steve used an aftermarket cover with decals from Afterthoughtsauto.com

I think he did too for his 4th gen, but I thought for his 1st gen he used modified C5 FRCs? Steve, quit workin so hard @ PHR and chime in

He is still around, but mostly on www.pro-touring.com

Steve is a moderator in this forum, and now works as Technical Editor at PHR Magazine.
