FI Camaro SS vs FI 350Z Driving up one of the local streets, I see a VERY NICE LOOKING 350Z make a left in front of me. Initially, I think nothing of it, until I notice the Z mash on the gas..... This 350Z took off!! Immediately, I knew this was not your ordinary Z.
So we get to a red light and I pull behind him since all three lanes were taken (he is also behind one car). Once the lane next to him opens up, he mashes the gas again, and takes off. I wait a quick second (looked around to make sure it was clear) and follow suit.
As he is quickly approaching a red light, I notice it looks like there will only be one lane open, and he is in it....
Suddenly, he quickly passes the car on his right, and takes the lane (leaving me the open lane). Immediately, I think, "Ahhhhh he definitely wants to play".....
I pull up next to him and look over, but he doesn't look back. I notice he has a female passenger and has brought his revs up anticipating the green light. At this point, I also notice a gauge pilar and believe he has FI, since this would explain why he took off so quickly and why he is so eager to race me.
I bring the revs up and wait for the green. Light goes green, and I get a decent lauch. The Nitto DR hook up good, and I'm at least a car...car and a half up at the top of first. Bang second, and I can tell my clutch is starting to give a little, but I stay in her and pull two more cars on him by the time I'm at the top of 2nd...... (65-70ish mph). At this point I shut down and slow down...
I wait for him at the next red light to give him a thumbs, but he pulls a little ahead of me and prepares to make a right. As I'm looking at him, he does not look back, but has a dead serious look on his face. I lean forward a little and notice his female passenger is smiling and talking to him (he was looking away from her).....her smile was kind of a smart azz smile... he did not seem pleased with whatever she was saying....
Just as he is about to complete his right turn he looked back at me and nodded... I gave him a thumbs up and he continued on his way...
This car was very nice looking and had aftermarket rims.

that is funny about the chick in the pass. she is prolly tellin him how he should have spent $40000 on a Camaro instead of a new nissan.

Good kill, i saw you post this story over @ 350zmotoring.You're running an 11.5 that is one pretty fast car, no shame in losing to something that fast.O and about the girl that guy had it coming to him with his girlfriend giving him a wise smirk...all girls i've ever dated hate it when i drive fast let alone race anyone
