Fresh Air Line off of Throttle Body
I put on a set of aftermarket valve covers that were just plain, no holes at all. I had a hole bored in each valve cover, one for a breather with a PCV in it and the other just a breather. I ran the line from the old pcv on the FAST manifold to the breather with the PCV. I plugged the fresh air line coming off of the throttle body. I've been researching this tonight because I'm seeing oil in the manifold and now I have plugs fouling. I've seen where some say you've got to have that fresh air tube hooked up to provide positive crankcase ventilation. Do I really need the fresh air tube hooked up, or is the breather enough and what I really need to get is a catch can and if I really do need the fresh air tube hooked up, where do I hook it?
Here are some pics, I don't know how to make them bigger but I think you can get the idea.

The factory valve covers have baffles in them to keep the oil from being sucked up to the TB so bad. More than likely your new valve covers do not have this and that is why you are getting too much oil into the intake side of the engine.

Is there anybody on this board who knows anything about this that will help me with this. Or is everybody only concerned and will respond as to whether "to have cat's or no cat's" and that is the limit of the knowledge here. I've posted in two posts requesting information from those on this board are knowledgable about these situations and have virtually no response. I thought that was what this board was for, feedback and help. So either nobody knows anything or their just not willing to share their information. I've read about all the experience and knowledge on this board, you couldn't prove it by me.

This board is a -free- resource. It is not a paid, professional source of informtion. You take the best of what you can get from others that feel they have the knowledge to respond to you.
Having said that, best of luck to solving your prob.
