If you want to gut the cats just stick like a large conical pipe inside the hole and hit it with a hammer and voila gutted cats

The ceramic "brick" is surprisingly tough. A cheap
long drill bit will make it a whole lot easier for your
friend Mr. Crowbar, if you open up some "starter
holes".

If you have a die grinder and a ball stone or better
yet a carbide burr, you may want to dress off some
of the sharp edges you will find. These I believe will
add some dog-whistle overtones ("rasp", perhaps)
if you let them stay as they are without the filtering
effect of the honeycomb.

know what you mean, when I got my t/a the cats were gutted, someone told me that added horsepower, I was actually beating sticks, anyway I was trying to get my engine light off and some mechanic sold me some cats and got over on me, cause the car isn't as fast nor sounds the same, so enjoy all w/o cats!
