That box is probably huge, bandpass boxes are always huge. I think you'd have trouble putting it in without having it block your vision.

hosestly, thoes a very cheap version of audiobon sub and the box "looks" like a sub box I sell at best buy, the company name is dual and it is really a cheap flea market brand in my opinion. And I agree that the box will be way to big. Its just me, but your mony can be better spent. I am a car audio supervisor at best buy.

That will most likely put out one note... probably around 60-80hz fairly well. Not high quality stuff that is for sure. You can definately find a quality amp and a quality sub for $219... this isn't it.

You DO NOT want to buy anything like that. What type of music are you going to be listening to? How loud do you want it to play? Do you want it to "blend" with the rest of the system, or just bump loud? I have a custom audio shop in Washington. I have been doing custom installation of mid-high end equipment for a little over 12 years. Let me know what you are looking for, and how much $ you are willing to spend, and I will try to recommend something that will work out good for you. I could always build you a box and ship it to you, if we can not find anything that will work out.

I don't think the box will fit well at all. Also, look at the power ratings on the amp. Looks like a POS to me. I would honestly shop around and get something a little more quality oriented. You could find a used 12" and a decent amp for that price, have room in the hatch for other things, and a better sound for different types of music.

I thought the same thing, i'm an installer for them. As far as the bass, you can get one mid level 12" to dominate that setup.

alright well my limit is around 300 dollars for an amp/box and subs. I listen to mostly rap with loud bass, some rock, so i need a good loud bass sound whats the best deal for the dough. i want it to look good but more importantly sound good.

My friend may sell his Precision Power amp. I used to have the same amp in my Supra and it is pretty serious. I'll ask him for ya. It's a PC1800.2, it's 400w RMS into 4ohms, 800w RMS into 2ohms. It's a one channel, but has two sets of outputs to run it at 2 ohm mono. Let me know if you might be interested. The only downside I can think of is that is it's kinda big, dimensions wise.

it wont fit, I have a stealthbox w/ a JL Audio 10W0 and it makes alot more bass and blends alot better than I ever thought it would and doesnt take up any trunk space. Its definetely worth looking into

Ok here is what I came up with ....

Kicker L7 8": $ 139.00 www.carmedia1.com
Hifonics NX400: $ 99.00 www.ikesound.com

or

Kicker L7 10": $ 194.00 www.carmedia1.com
Hifonics NX600: $ 99.00 www.ikesound.com

Do your research. They both have advantages/disadvantages. You could also do a Image Dynamics IDQ in place of the 10" with the NX400 amp. The Kicker would be louder, but the IDQ would have better sq and tonal accuracy in my opinion. To boot the IDQ would run you $120 at www.carmedia1.com
