my loudmouths tend to backfire alot and i was wondering if this was common or if theres something wrong

totally normal.. it happens more on the LS1's then the LT1's

Thats most free flowing exhaust, espc. exhaust like Loudmouth or something with a straight through exhaust or exhaust with resonators. I personally like it.

My LM backfires a lot when letting off the gas too.

it's called RAZ. It's un-burned fuel lighting off in the pipes.

its not 'back fireing", lol! Back fireing would sound like a shot gun going off.

Mine does it once I step on the gas and let go. Also, between the shifts when I race.

Ill have you know mine has been doing it for over a year now, and just the other day it was a little colder than usual... It sounded like 2 shotguns going off right after each other. It's never been that loud before, me and my G/F just looked at each other wide eyed LOL.

Probably not a good thing huh?

And ya, a back fire would be going BACK through the intake no? not a good thing at all
