So the Emergency room sucks...
Went to kennedale last night, they had the BHRA nationals with a few jet cars, wheelie car (whooptie doo - it sucked, and took a chunk of concrete outa the track). Welp, when the jet cars were doing their little thrust bumps, or whatever the hell that is, they stirred up alot of dirt, rocks, debris, etc.
Well, it just so happened I was fairly close to them, and got some in my eye..
Thought I got it out, but this morning my eye hurt like hell, tried rinsing out, etc all day. Finaly said **** it and went to the E.R. when my eye was swollen near shut. After waiting around, I find out I have a hole/scratch thing on my cornea... What fun..
Hurts like a sonofabitch right now.

Yup, thanks for coming with. That sucks that your eye got messed up. Ive had a busy trip to the ER this week also. Earlier this week I got some cleaner in my eyes and had to go for the fact my vision was blurred. Then tongiht my wife called me telling me that my son is wheezing on the way home. Turns out he has a slight case of pneumonia. It should be all good for now.

That sucks about the scratch on your cornea, the same thing happened with a friend of mine. He was putting an off-road H-pipe on his foxbody when some rust fell in his eye. His eye pussed up all nasty since he didn't go to the ER for a couple days. They made him wear an eye patch for like three weeks - funniest thing ever was watching him pull up next to a guy, and try to get the guy to run him, all while looking like a freaking pirate !
Hope your boy gets feeling better Parker .

sorry to hear about that man. working outside I did that so many times. and its neat sometimes they pour fluid on there and light it up with a UV light and you can see the scratch/hole glowing. anyway hope you feel better soon man.

Thats what they did to me, but everything was blurry then and I couldn't tell.
I still read the 20/10 line backwards and forwards with both eyes... Nurses were like WTF are you reading.... I was like the bottom line... they couldn't see it and I was twice the distance away.

Thanks everyone. Hes doing much better after getting a steroid shot. I almost rushed him to the gym to lift...lol. The funny thing is he never acted like he felt bad at all, just stayed in good spirits like he always does. Glad your feeling better Brandon.
