Southern Members - Douglasville Car Show

Car show Saturday August 27th at Arbor Pace Mall in Douglasvill Ga. I am not 100% percent on time and much else as i was just told about it today. The entry fee is 25 dollars per car. I think it is opened to pretty much all types of cars form street rods to rice burners. I should have more information by tomorrow evening. It would be nice to show all the local ricers boys what American Muscle is all about

Well it is all for charity. If you pre-register online it is only 20 bucks and you get a t-shirt and a dash plaque. It is combining two shows this year. The one at arbor place and the one at the regal cinemas in west cobb. It was huge last year. 650 cars. 35 awards being given out abd lots of different classes

Yeah, I found out about it about a week ago and than got the PM you sent me. You got a website to go to for the registration? Not sure I'm gonna be able to get the car cleaned and waxed in time, but I'll definately be out there on Saturday.

I just found out like sunday. There will definitely be some sick cars there. Mine will be in the upper parking lot at sears cuz I gots to work

I'll be there, but I won't be entering tho.
An '01 Lambo Diablo 6.0 was there last year.

Its a lot of classics and street rods. Of course there will be a few ricers but not enough to make it a fest. If you guys wanna wait there will be one at Hooter's in Doulgasville on Oct. 22, I can give you guys more info in a little while

Looks like I won't be leaving till around 12 on Saturday, so I won't be showing. Oh well, just gives me more time to get ready for the show in Kennesaw on the 10th next month.

Nope...not on Saturday..got a couple of new Corvettes to deliver to out of state customers.. :)

just got back...yes its only 2:00 but it was ungodly hot. great show, there was all kinds of cars old and new there. ill let sean reply, he had the camera.

btw the white/grey stingray had the factory window sticker w/ it and the grand total from chevy when it was first made........$5,700 and change. not a bad little turn around considering its might b pushing close to 18 to 20 times that much now.

Grasshopper...gasoline was $.17 a gallon then too...my 1962 Corvette with the 327cu.in. 340 HP,4 speed, positraction, both tops, and the good AM signal seeking radio had a MSRP of $4749... :lol:

I saw Sean99WS6's car there, mine was the black T/A about 2 rows in front of you. Only 3 LSx powered cars there that I saw. But man there were some nice ass cars. Did you get a chance to check out the 1.5 million dollar Rolls Royce??

yeah saw that, im not impressed with those old rolls, if it was one of those phantoms :hail:

It was a the only 1957 Phantom V(5) ever built It was very impressive.

What is the entrance fee?> It says nothing of f-bods, we are still invited right?

Oh yeah. Everything is welcome. But they don't have a specific class for F-Bodies, just have to enter in the 81-Present. And the judging should be pretty good...PARMCK is the same ones that judged at Arbor Place this weekend. I know that there's at least gonna be 2 of us there (me and Blackbird #4). Entrance fee is $25 if you preregister and $30 the day of. Click on the link for the Brochure at the top of that page and it gives all the other details about the show as well as directions.
