Default Who would u take? this srt4 or my camaro

My z-28 dynoed at 310rwhp, and 340rwt. And ive got 3.73 gears. My buddy has a 2002 or 3 cant remember srt4. He dynoed at 303rwhp, and 315 rwt. He has regular street tires, who would u take from a roll , and a dig?

SRT from a roll without a doubt. You from a dig unless you go past 1/4 then him again.

Your Z is going to lose from a roll and from a dig. The power to weight ratio is in favor of the SRT-4.

BTW they didn't start making them until 2003, so that rules out what year it is. However, 2003 was the worst year for them, as they didn't have a limited slip diff until 2004.

the srt4 would walk all over you as long as the guy knows how to drive, he is putting out nearly the same power than you and weighs 400-500 lbs less, simple hp to weight ratio.

You need at least a cam or FULL bolt-ons, not just a few.

Blower, bottle, or turbo will do it easily, of course.

I see that your an A4 and that you've got a SLP LM, an air lid and 3.73 gears. If you got $1200 to spend, then I'd do these mods and you should have no problem beating that SRT-4...

*WMRA kit ($130)
*TCI 3500 stall T/C ($515)
*24k Tranny Cooler ($55)
*Pacesetter coated LT's with TSP ORY ($500)

2003 SRT-4s were pretty much dogs, mostly to blame was thier differentials, which were not limited slip in that year.

You'll get him off the line, and just keep going if you don't mess up the launch.

A typical SRT-4 weighs 3200 lbs with a 200 lb driver.

Get a cam and long tubes and you'll be out of his league.

if he is on street tires...he will not get traction until 70 mph...

race him from a 10 mph roll and you will still hold him off till about 110-120.

From a dig would be pointless for him...he will never get traction.
