Southern Members - Speed shops in Louisiana?

Any one know how bad they got hit by the hurricaine?

I know Futral Motorsports was located down there, I wonder if Allan's shop made it out ok. Im sure there were other performance shops that got destroyed by the hurricane....not just for them but everyone's business' and lives' are gone :emb:

Has anyone tried to contact them or has anyone from those shops posted on this board?

Thunder Racing is in Baton Rouge, LA. If you check their website, they have a note about the effects Katrina had on them. Seem like they are alive and well, but only have limited internet and phone service.

Thunder just recently posted that they are back up and running 100% . No word from FMS.

My friend who works at FMS said he should be going back to work tomorrow.
