Default Newb..Is It Worth It

Hey hows it goin my friend Kyle acually as on here not long ago with a 2004 v6 mustang asking about an Fbody now its my turn. I have a chance to buy a 99 SS w/ t tops leather interior black on black and 46,xxx miles 6spd. My current car is an automatic 2002 mineral gray v6 mustang w/ heads, upper manifold kn fipk, full exhaust chip and udp running low 15s/high 14s and 53k miles on it.. its already gone through 3 window motors, constant alignment work and suspension problems..also need a driver side door lock motor for the 2nd time . What i am asking is would it be worth switching to the camaro which is faster, and less milage ? what are the pros and cons id be looking at by doing this ? thanks!

pros- faster, less mileage

cons- older car

what do u mean by switching? like a direct trade?

i would do it in a heartbeat, v6 mustangs lose value faster then a fat person falling down.

well switching i mean just going from a v6 mustang to an SS i wish i could go direct trade haha. id either just trade in the stang or just sell it privately, but your def. right the v6 mustang loses value very fast mint condition they only want 8k if that much

That SS will smoke that V6 like some bad valve seals! Buy it and don't look back!

What was the question again? Oh you just purchased a 99 SS Camaro. Great choice

I am sure you get what I mean.

i've driven an auto v6 mustang (both 02 and 05 models), and owned all the cars listed in my signature. even my 97 V6 firebird felt 10 times faster than the mustang. the ford auto transmissions suck ***, and really hinder the performance of the mustangs.

bro, get the SS. do whatever you can to get it. beg, borrow, or steal.
of course, i filled up my tank today and it cost me $42 for 12 gallons. maybe i'll trade you straight up .

I don't think an auto V6 will get that much better mileage than an M6 LS1. I'm sure at least on the highway the LS1 will do much better.
