Wish that I had a C5... $7000 kinda hurts though. Anxious to see the 1/4 mile times too!

7000? wtf, I much rather pay a little more for hte PTK kit. STS shoudl ahve stayed where they belonged, ~4000 dollar range, at least they had an advantage there.

that turbo is so close to the bumper why don't you just mount it in the trunk so it doesn't get stolen?

Fact is that all the twin turbo vette systems cost much more than that. But I have to agree that if it could boast $6000 or less then it would have the upper hand on every system out there. I like the fact that it comes as a complete bolt on. What if they take off the intercooler and you could purchase or make your own meth system? Would it be worth a $1000 drop in price?

Where are the intake pipes leading back to the front on that photo of the bottom of the car? All I see are exhaust pipes.

I think vette owners will be all over this kit. Its a clean install and it good for the guy that really doesn't know to much but wants more. I mean alot of vette owners don't really care where the turbo sits(IMO) as long as it works. 6psi 500+hp is pretty nice. You say the price is high compared to there single kit but you are getting two kits almost.

Hey, except the pipe diameter is only like 1 5/8"!

I bet they make some big power with those long pipe runs at that I.D.

BTW, there was a thread on the vette forum up until today offering a GP for this system for like $5900. Now it's lock up in the moderators forum.

False, Shinobi's Z has had one on his car for a while. I know there's at least one other guy on the CF with one as well (NICK YOSKIN).

Their are several vette kits out there from PTK, and another thing, the STS system can not be compared to the PTK front mount system or any other front mount TT system. Its kind of like comparing a Yugo to a Bentley

with 2 pipes I bet it's plenty for over 600rwhp.

again most people miss the point of these systems. they are NOT made for the guy that wants 1000 hp and to run 8's. why people continue to compare the two concepts over and over again I don't know.

they are a complete setup for the shadetree mechanic guy that is more than happy with 600rwhp or less that doesn't want to deal with all the issues an under the hood turbo gives you.

Different Stokes Different Folks. It all depends on what you want. The system is very clean. I would like to see some more of the cold piping.
